IV Symposium of History of Cartography in Barcelona

Since 2010, the Historic Archive of the City of Barcelona and the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia organize for the fourth time a symposium about the history of cartography in Barcelona this year under the coordination of by Santi Barjau, Ramon Grau and Carme Montaner.

Our co-founder Pablo Martínez will be presenting the Historic Charter of Barcelona, a unique document the explains the history of the city through the cartographies that describe it, containing 26 maps that have been drawn from texts, historical cartographies, archaeological maps, modern cartography and contemporary digital maps.
