Rethinking Barcelona Urban Model

Which layers of information are necessary to rethink the urban model of a city?

‘Rethinking Barcelona Urban Model’ is a diagnosis of different aspects that critically describe the current situation of Barcelona in order to replan the urban model of the city.

A set of 11 cartographies analyze the future urban strategies planned in short term; the housing situation in relation to construction quality, rent price and its use; the tourism status and its impact over public spaces and housing; the urban gentrification phenomena in relation with vacation apartments and rent price; green spaces and the relationship with the health of residents, the urban transport accessibility considering slow and fast mobility; private transport and its impact in the city; and noise pollution and its possible causes.
