Welcome festivals!

Join us 26/09 at New Generations Rome and 28/09 Open House Madrid Conference!

Autumn is time for architecture festivals. We are happy to participate in the New Generations Festival in Rome and the Open House conference in Madrid. Both festivals focus on understanding how the role of architects has been changing during the last few years along with the way they should plan and design the cities we inhabit.

Organised by Gianpiero Venturini (Itinerant Office), the ‘New Generations Festival Architects vs The rest of the world‘ is part of the New Generations project that was conceived in 2012 with the aim of creating a European platform for young students and architectural firms, a network based on collaboration and cultural exchange. The 2017 edition will be held in Rome from 23 to 26 September with more than 80 different participants.

The Open House conference ‘Ciudades del futuro, de Roma a Marte‘ is a parallel event to Open House Madrid (30 September-1 October). Co-curated by Paloma Gómez and Pati Nuñez, Open House Madrid is a festival that takes place one weekend a year in more than 30 cities around the world, providing broad audiences with unparalleled access to the extraordinary architecture and to the people who help design, build, and preserve the city. The conference will discuss about the relationship between city and architecture and the implications of architects and politics in the design of future cities.
