About Barcelona Model


We have participated in the debate organized by El Mirador La Vanguardia about the new urban model of Barcelona with Vicente Guallart, chief architect of the City of Barcelona; Albert Civit, manager of Urban Habitat of the City of Barcelona;Lluís Comerón, dean of the Board of Architects of Catalonia; Giovanna Carnevalli, director of the Mies Van de Rohe Foundation; Antoni Casamor, partner at BCQ and Miguel Roldánpartner at Roldán i Berengué Architects. The use of new tools (Big data, Open Data) for a better urban management and the need to work on a metropolitan scale have been the plotlines of our participation in the debate. We also discussed about the city model and its most significant projects (Glories, Sagrera, Tres Turons, Montjuïc, etc.).
