The World’s First Digital ‘Encyclopedia’ on Access to Housing

The Affordable Housing Atlas, developed by 300,000 Km/s, allows to analyze city by city how urbanization has expanded over the last 50 years, showing a map of all the planet's metropolises at a resolution of 250 meters. This is possible thanks to the integration of data from the Global Humanitarian Settlement Layer, which details more than 16,000 metropolitan regions in the world. This level of sophistication and its easy usability make it an essential tool for the analysis and study of affordable housing on the planet by governments, institutions and universities.
