Morphologies of Tourism

‘Morphologies of Tourism’ is an analitical description of the current state of tourism in Barcelona through its causes and impacts.

Taking into consideration four main topics, the project aims to explain what attracts visitors and locals in the city, what is the relation between hotel offer and housing, where do visitors and local citizens share activities in Barcelona and if there is a relationship between tourist activity and displacement of local citizens.

The project was displayed during the FADfest’17, the festival of Design of Barcelona, as part of the exhibition ‘The state of Tourism’.
