PAM Data Visualisation

How to visualise and communicate the collaborative creation of a public local policy?

The data visualisations of the Barcelona Municipal Action Program 2016-2019, known as PAM, explain the process of drafting a collaborative public policy.

The project includes infographies, context maps and interactive pieces that aim to disseminate among citizenship the content of the Plan, the milestones of the participative process and its results.

The narrative of the visualisations goes from plain images -introducing the main axis of the Plan and the big numbers- to interactive diagrams and sofisticated graphs, providing the user a sequential approach to different levels of information.

Client: Barcelona City Council
Completion: 2016
In collaboration with Gerald Kogler
