Pere IV

The best past is not the shortest. A survey to understand how citizens choose their path in a neighbourhood

The project shows the results of a survey among Poble Nou neighbours within the framework of the participatory process set up by the Pere IV Axis Table. This process aims to promote the social, cultural and economic reactivation project of the Pere IV axis, as a historical axis of the Poble Nou district and as a driving force for future urban development.

The aim of the survey is to understand what are the usual walking paths of the neighbours, understanding that the routes within the city often do not obey objective reasons. Sometimes, the best path is not the shortest one. This map is interactive and can be filtered according to gender, age and area of residence of respondents.
