This land-use plan was developed in a context of growing business specialization and potential ground-floor transformations resulting from a new, pedestrian-first, green axis implemented under the Barcelona City Council’s plan for superblocks. It establishes site conditions for establishments and is aimed at promoting a balanced mix of uses, urban quality and residents’ quality of life.
