Renovation work on the main street of the Sant Andreu neighborhood began in 2018. This work is accompanied by regulations on ground-floor use to enhance its commercial character and control what new businesses are implemented.
Understanding how business activities – especially those that have an impact on the setting – adapt to suburban development is key to creating plans that maintain habitability and residents’ quality of life. An establishments census and a cartographic analysis of the current situation was conducted before writing the plan and holding the participatory process.
