The district of Ciutat Vella is home to more than 600 streets whose names derive from specific historical and political circumstances. We designed a map that can be used to consult historical research on this nomenclature conducted by a specialized team. Users can filter for neighborhood, period or subject matter to find what they are looking for.

A Ciutat Vella, hi ha més de 600 carrers que amaguen una història diferent darrere del seu nom. Alguns carrers porten el nom de famílies, oficis i llocs. Altres tenen nom d’home o de dona, de militar o de religiós. Carrers que van ser nombrats en l’època medieval i alguns que ho han estat més recentment.
